Haroldo Jacobovicz is a Curitiba native who started his professional career in civil engineering in the 80s. His professional background consists of a Civil Engineering degree at the Federal University of Parana. In addition, Haroldo also attended Military College for seven years. Haroldo is the eldest amongst his four brothers, born to two parents who were also civil engineers. Haroldo followed his parents’ footsteps but slightly diverged his interests in Information Technology, a technology that had not been fully recognized and established at the time. Haroldo Jacobovicz gained immense knowledge on Information Technology through research and heavy reading of magazines and newspapers. Through his entrepreneurial acumen, Haroldo decided to invent and create new technology, Microsystem, and his three campus friends who had deep knowledge in Information Technology. Microsystem was an IT company that helped small enterprises with their inventory and cash management. Even though Microsystem failed Jacobovicz never lost hope; large corporations such as Exxon Mobile, previously known as Esso, saw great potential in Haroldo’s work and hired him from a group of 200 engineers. While at Exxon Mobil, Haroldo moved up the ladder pretty fast and became a market analyst and head of commercial tactics. However, he soon left to venture again into entrepreneurship activities. In the midst of it all, he founded e-Governe Group, a company providing solutions through Information Technology in Brazil to date.

Fast Forward in 2010, Haroldo Jacobovicz founded yet another company, Horizons Telecom. Horizons Telecom technology is the most advanced equipment in the tech market and consists of a 100% fiber network. Horizons Telecom is known to be the best telecommunications supplier in Brazil. In 2020, Haroldo Jacobovicz established another company known as Horizons Datacenter that began operations soon after.
